We’ve added a few new pics to the puppy page of Ruby’s latest kids.  They were sired by Ch Thasrite Red Bull.

Congratulations to Ronnie Morrison,  Bennett now bears the title CH Dawkendale Flashpoint APT.  That’s right, having just gained his  championship  title Bennett went on  pass the APTITUDE test with flying colours.  The Kennel Union was able to add both his title and his qualification to his registration at the same time!

These beautiful kids are making quite a splash.  Their picture seems to crop up all over the internet and no wonder, they are just such cute, typical Boxer puppies!  Just for the record, they are Dawkendales.
Their mum was Dawkendale Just Do It  (Nike) and their dad was Am Ch Jopa’a Great Gusto of Higo  SOM.

Breeder of the Year 2010

We are proud to have picked up the WP Boxer Club’s Breeder of the Year award for the second successive year. Thanks to all the judges who have considered our breeding worthy of their top awards in the show ring this year. We are particularly pleased that the Boxer specialist judges from overseas honored us with their Best of Breed awards in October. Our boys won 4 of the 6 cc’s on offer in October and collected the Reserve tickets in the other two.

Dawkendale Flashpoint (Bennett) belonging to Ronnie and Vanessa Morrison moves away from the judge Mr Ronnie Tolson from Ireland.  This must have pleased the judge as he gave Bennet the 2 point cc and Best of Breed in a good entry of Boxers! There is a picture of a very proud Ronnie Morrison receiving the Boxer of the Year award for Bennett at the Western Province Boxer Club’s annual awards presentation. Boxers CAN be really good!

CONGRATULATIONS are due to Charles Dominion and Benjamin, his Boxer.  Benjamin, accompanied by Charles, earned his Kennel Union Good Citizen Certificate at the Kennel Association’s open show held in Constantia.

There were a huge number of dogs being tested and this meant a long wait between tests which in itself is a test for the patience and obdience of any busy Boxer who no doubt has better things to do!

BUDDY THE BOXER. WILL I BE FAMOUS TOO ?

I’m told I look a lot like Buddy the Toyota Boxer. My people were helping at the Western Province Boxer Club’s stand at WODAC and brought home a brochure from Buddy who was there too, at the Totota stand.

As I quietly ate a brochure with his picture on it and thought as I chewed, “I bet I can also look cute in a nice new Yaris.”

proud of them both.

Dawkendale Flashpoint (Bennett) won Best of Breed at the Breede Rivier Vallei Kennel

Not to be outdone by his older

brother (same mom just a year between them), Dawkendale Playing Tricks (Joker) won

best Puppy in Show, the 2 point CC dog award and then went Best in Show. The judge was the well-known English Boxer specialist Dawn Pilling.
